July was Ford's best-ever sales month in Russia, and the company is building on this with the introduction of several new models at this week's Moscow Show.

This is the first time that Russian customers have come face to face with the Galaxy and the Focus Coupé-Cabriolet, which go on sale next month and early next year respectively. The Show also marks the first appearance in the country of the new Transit, and the European premiere of the US-built Explorer. Ford is also displaying the S-MAX, which went on sale in Russia in July, and iosis concept car. «The Moscow Motor Show is a perfect place to showcase Ford's tremendous success in Russia," says Ford of Europe CEO John Fleming. "Our industry-pioneering plant in St Petersburg has built more than 100,000 new Ford cars since it opened in 2002.»
